Gill shares her wealth of experience in producing world class live events with SupaJam students and often invites them along to her festivals as her guest or to gain work experience.

“I have been be fortunate enough to have first hand experience of what  SupaJam has meant to the kids who have been part of this fantastic opportunity for change.  Nick, David and the team have worked tirelessly to give some meaning to the lives of these young people who really needed help.  

 

As a mentor to the students, I feel I have been able to see first hand what being part of this journey has enabled them to achieve.

As events organisers, we have been able to give temporary work to some of the students to further their skills. I have seen students who started the courses, at first unable to engage eye to eye when having a conversation, to become confident young people eager to learn. This is down to the dedication of SupaJam, an organisation I have a huge amount of respect for.” 

Sonia Leigh has visited the SupaJam students several times, offering industry insight and workshops in song writing.

The value of this programme brings to the table to provide music education and a creative home for individuals, who may not have had the opportunity otherwise, is priceless. Abi comes into SupaJam and shares her extensive experience of the music industry with students including artist development, A&R, publishing and television integration.
