SupaJam teaches the following RSL Diplomas:
Level 1 Diploma in the Creative Music Industries (one year programme)
Level 2 Diploma in the Creative Music Industries (one year programme)
Level 3 Extended Diploma in the Creative Music Industries (two year programme)
Modules are carefully selected to develop core Music Industry and Employability skills that help students to prepare for Higher Education and Employment, and programmes are infused with opportunities for learners to explore their interests and talents beyond the curriculum.
Whilst our programmes are fundamentally business based, modules also include disciplines such as songwriting, sound engineering, practical musicianship, and working with a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Learners plan and manage events, perform and record their own songs, and collaborate with wide teams of peers and professionals.
Additional skills that are built within the RSL curriculum are creativity, reflection, team work, self management, problem solving, research skills, communication, ICT, and Maths and English. As a result, our learners continuously develop their confidence and resilience.
