Practical Musicianship

As music colleges we recognise the importance of students developing their practical music skills, and therefore incorporate performance, rehearsals, instrumental development and music theory into the curriculum.

Students have dedicated time to work in the rehearsal rooms and venue space to develop original songs, collaborative performances and band projects; working towards future performance opportunities.

Wellbeing Sessions

At the end of each day, students choose a short activity to promote their wellbeing. These activities range from quiet time and cooking to music lessons, podcasting, band and art projects. The aim of these sessions is to help students wind down after a day of learning and relax.

These include music performance, podcasting and debating, group choirs, Logic Pro composition, art and additional support with personal projects.
